Please read our hire agreement carefully before booking.

Welcome to Baby Sleep Hire Melbourne. By hiring equipment from us, you (the "Hirer") agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Bond & Return Conditions
A refundable $200 bond is required for all SNOO rentals. This will be returned to you within 2–3 business days of the end of the hire period upon inspection of accessories and SNOO. The full bond will be kept in the case that the SNOO itself is damaged, malfunctioning, lost, or stolen.
The bond will be held if the SNOO is still paired to your Wi-Fi connection until confirmed unpaired. Additionally, a charge will be deducted from the bond if the SNOO and SNOO equipment is not returned in a clean condition as received, including soiling of the SNOO mesh. In the case that the SNOO mesh is soiled with vomit, dirt, pen/marker, makeup or in any other way, a $60 cleaning fee will be deducted from your bond. Missing swaddles will incur a charge of $30 each, and missing sheets will incur a $20 fee. The hirer hereby authorises such charge(s) by continuing with the booking.
2. Pre-Rental Equipment Check
Baby Sleep Hire will perform a pre-rental check of all equipment at the beginning of the hire period and at the time of pick-up/delivery. This will include ensuring you have unpaired SNOO from your app and Wi-Fi connection. Please see instructions here.
Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment for the initial hire period and the security bond. Availability is subject to confirmation at the time of booking.
3. User Manuals
Missing, destroyed, or incomplete return of user manuals will result in a $15.00 replacement fee per manual being charged to the hirer. The hirer hereby authorises such charge(s).
4. Late Returns
The hirer agrees to return items at specified times. Otherwise, additional daily fees of $15 per day will be incurred unless the hire period is officially extended and paid.
5. Rental Extensions
If you would like to extend your hire period, please contact us as soon as possible. All extension payments must be received prior to the end of the original hire period.
6. Reporting Issues
The Hirer must notify Baby Sleep Hire as soon as reasonably practicable of any malfunction, damage, or loss of the hired equipment. In the unlikely event that the SNOO develops a fault during an active hire period, Baby Sleep Hire will, at its discretion, repair or replace the SNOO as soon as reasonably practicable, provided the Hirer has notified Baby Sleep Hire of the fault promptly and the fault has not arisen due to misuse, neglect, accidental damage, or failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions.
7. Manufacturer Disclaimer
The hirer acknowledges that Baby Sleep Hire does not manufacture the SNOO Smart Sleeper or its equipment and that they have selected the equipment based on their own judgement.
8. Responsibility for Use
The hirer acknowledges, agrees, and assumes full responsibility for the use of the product being hired as per manufacturer instructions. The hirer acknowledges they must contact Baby Sleep Hire for any missing instructions related to the SNOO Smart Sleeper.
9. Termination of Agreement
Baby Sleep Hire Melbourne reserves the right to terminate this hire agreement and recover possession of the equipment at any time if the hirer breaches any of these terms and conditions.
10. Manufacturer Guidelines
The hirer agrees to use the product as recommended by the manufacturer 'Happiest Baby' and follow all warnings, instructions, and safety guidelines. All user manuals will be provided. Once the hirer has taken possession of the equipment, it becomes their responsibility to keep the child safe.
11. Cancellations and Refund Policy
Cancellations made more than 7 days before the scheduled hire start date will receive a full refund of the booking deposit. Cancellations made within 7 days of the hire start date are non-refundable, as the SNOO has been reserved and prepared for your booking. In the event that the hirer would like to end a prepaid booking of 2 weeks or more, a 1 week cancellation fee will apply. Refunds will be calculated pro rata and charged at the weekly rate if used for under 12 weeks.
12. Liability Waiver
Baby Sleep Hire Melbourne is not responsible for any injury, illness, death, loss, damage, cost, or expense arising from or related to the use or misuse of the hired equipment, including the SNOO Smart Sleeper and associated accessories.
The hirer acknowledges that they are solely responsible for the supervision, care, and safety of any child using the equipment and agree to use the equipment strictly in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, warnings, and safety guidelines.
Baby Sleep Hire Melbourne does not guarantee that the equipment will be suitable for every child or that its use will improve sleep, settle a child, or prevent injury.
13. ID Requirement
The hirer agrees to provide photo ID, including current address, to proceed with the booking.
14. Advance Bookings
Bookings require a $50 deposit to secure SNOO availability for the desired period.
15. Independent Business Disclaimer
Baby Sleep Hire is an independent entity and is not associated with Happiest Baby Inc. Any assistance needed during the hire period will be provided by Baby Sleep Hire.
16. App Subscription Changes
As of 15/07/2024, Happiest Baby announced changes to app features. If the premium subscription is selected, there will be an additional fee of $29.99/month paid directly to Happiest Baby. Premium features include weaning mode, level-lock, responsiveness settings, sleep tracker, daily reports, multi-SNOO support, premium content, and car-ride mode.
17. Agreement to Terms
By continuing with this booking, the hirer agrees to all terms and conditions described in this agreement.
